DriftSleep listens for snores and reads your motion, all on-device. Wake up to a sleep score, a snore timeline, and one coaching tip from your night — no watch, no ring, no audio recordings.
No watch to charge, no chest strap, no account to sign up for. Just place your phone face-down on the nightstand and tap one button.
Screen down, within an arm's reach of your head, ideally plugged in.
One tap arms tracking. The screen dims to navy and gets out of your way.
On-device snore detection and accelerometer-based restlessness. No audio is ever recorded.
Sleep score, snore timeline, restlessness readout, and (with Pro) one specific coaching tip from your night.
DriftSleep is designed for the worst lighting condition any app will ever face — the moment you reach over to check the time. No bright whites, no surprise modals, no flashing badges.
Three quick permissions, then a single big button. No accounts, no email capture.
Screen dims to navy. No bright UI to interrupt the room if you check the time.
Total sleep time, snore count, restlessness, and a 0–100 score — plus a snore timeline. No 20-page novel.
One ring per night, color-coded. Tap any night to revisit its report.
DriftSleep is one of the only sleep apps where audio analysis runs entirely on your device. The microphone buffer is classified in real time and immediately discarded — no waveform is written to disk, no audio is ever uploaded, and the only thing that syncs is a summary of your night (duration, snore count, restlessness, score).
The mic buffer is analyzed in real time by on-device sound classification, then immediately discarded. Only the timestamp and duration of detected snore episodes are saved — never the sound.
No email, no signup, no password. Each install gets an anonymous ID stored in your iOS Keychain. We can't link your nights to a person — not even to you, by name.
Sleep summaries sync to our secure servers so your history persists across reinstalls. Audio and raw motion data stay on-device, full stop.
No Facebook SDK, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude, no AppsFlyer, no IDFA prompt. Crash reports are PII-scrubbed and never contain sleep data or microphone buffers.
Most popular sleep apps upload audio "snippets" to their cloud for "analysis." DriftSleep doesn't. Period. The App Store reviewer can verify this claim on every build by checking that no audio buffer ever crosses the network layer.

Seven features. Each one earned its place. No carousel of half-baked add-ons.
A single 0–100 score from total time, snore load, restlessness, and consistency. Designed to be checked in 3 seconds before coffee.
See exactly when episodes happened across the night — onset, middle-of-night clusters, early-morning bursts — so you can change one thing tomorrow.
Not a feed. Not a course. One pattern we noticed last night and one thing to try tonight. Generated for your data, not a generic library.
Movement derived from the accelerometer. Spot the nights you tossed and turned, and the conditions that caused them.
Pick a wake-up window. DriftSleep nudges you awake at a calm, low-movement moment inside it, instead of jolting you out of nowhere.
Weekly sleep score, snore counts, and restlessness side by side. Spot the weekend shift, the back-to-Monday dip, the week your gym schedule paid off.
Writes detected sleep sessions to HealthKit so your sleep history stays in one place across apps. Reads HRV (if you grant it) to sharpen the Pro coaching tip.
